Soap opera actor Jefferson Machado, who disappeared nearly five months ago, has been found dead in the trunk of a home in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A family friend named Cintia Hilsendeger confirmed the actor’s death on his Instagram page.
“It is with great regret that we inform you that Jeff was found dead on May 22, 2023,” she wrote In a heartbreaking post.

Machado was born in Araranguá and began his studies as an actor in 1997.
